  1. Really enjoyed it. I listened today at work. Are you planning a podcast feed (itunes or opml)?

    1. I have an RSS feed set up for it. However I am like one of the 3 people left in the world that doesn't use iTunes, so I am not sure how to get it listed there.

  3. I know the first episode of a podcast can often be rough, so I'd like to ask before moving on. Do the 'ums' 'uhs' and mispronuciations like 'weapontree' instead of 'weaponry' get ironed out? And do the background noises, like dogs barking, go away? Does the audio quality improve, and do the unfortunate choices of character voices by the GM stop or improve?

    1. Yes to all of that. New mics are purchased by couple of players. I edit out as many ums and ahs as I can while still trying to keep the speech natural sounding. The voices stop all together. The background noises are kept to a minimum but of course cannot be removed all together do to recording/editing limitations. Not everyone has a sound booth the recording in. Granted all of these changes don't happen till Episode 3 since Episode 1 & 2 were recorded at the same time. Thanks for listening.

    2. Excellent! As I'm sure you know, it's virtually impossible to find tolerable actual play podcast, and from what I heard here it sounds as though you had a very interesting story going. I like the idea of having the characters meet at a wake, and an interesting start is often a good sign for the experience as a whole. It would have been a shame to have to give this one a pass because of problems with English and presentation.

As for sound booths, I catch your meaning, but my feeling is if you're going to present yourself as a performance for the public it's simply basic courtesy to ensure one has passable equipment and a quiet environment. Otherwise one should just enjoy a game with one's friends.

I'm delighted to know the podcast develops as time goes on, and I look forward to listening to more.

    3. Everyone's got to start somewhere. This is my first attempt at running a podcast so a lot of things are trial and error to start. The only thing I can do is take feedback from the listeners and do my best to improve the things that don't quite work. I appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns. As for the English, I hope it doesn't bother you too much. Having to come up with things on the fly I know sometimes I grab the wrong word, or pronounce the word incorrectly, I am not really trying to butcher the English language, but alas it happens. I hope that as I get more experienced at doing this it gets better. I just hope we still have an audience when that happens.
